Since 1973, Biomarine has been providing quality inspections on the full spectrum of seafood products, from cod fillets to crab meat. We have extensive hands-on experience with all the major fish commodities, regular inspecting IQF (Individually quick frozen) items as well as block, vacuum packaged and added value items. We work with many of the major importers, processors, distributors and food chains. We are accredited to perform Net Weight determinations (percent glaze) by method AOAC 963.18 as well as the common microbiological and chemistry analyses. From the Dock to a Detailed Report

Shelf-life assessments

We perform several variations of refrigerated shelf-life determinations, custom to your needs. Generally, our shelf-life studies assess the product for microbiological quality and organoleptic quality at each test interval. We work with you to design a logical shelf-life study to meet your marketing and financial needs.

Sampling and On-site Assessments
